Very few products or solutions are self-explanatory. Creating guides for common integration scenarios and use cases adds value in a way that customers appreciate. Application notes and other documents such as "How-to" guides and FAQs can perform valuable work in both pre- and post-sales environments. In the pre-sales area they help prospects understand how they can use the product, and in the post-sales area they help reduce support calls.
